We like it very much! We were not able to book the factory tour on line, but Marco suggested and helped us to book a tour (in German) on our 2nd day. It was amazing! The guide explained some of the important point in English just for us! Totally worth it to see the car tower and off road driving course!

Me and my family spended six hours in Autostadt. Overall it was great, we all agreed. But we also agreed, that the Lamborghini and Bugatti pavillons was somewhats a joke - especially the Lamborghini pavillon. Get more models, and get them on the floor so we really Can see and enjoy them.

This is a very good activity and if a return to the site I would take against. I have just 2 thinks about this are not have a description of the tower in the hall of tower and I would like to exit of the top lounge to make the turn of the top of tower!

This activity is short but very much worth visiting. The visitors take the same lifting system that carries the cars up and down, but in the safe equiped cabin. They will see the interior operation of the towers and hear to the detailed explanation of the guide, who will tell you about the history and the modern operation of the Volkswagen plant.

Would surely recommend it. One thing I would like Autostadt to improve: allow people to walk around the top floor ring near the outer window. Facilities to do so are in place, perhaps some security improvements are required. But creating, this people can have a more complete view in all directions. This will make it a 5 star rating.

Great fun with wonderful tour guide providing knowledge not just on the cars but the surrounding areas. From the top is a brilliant view of the whole site and Wolfsburg castle.

My son and I started our day at the Autostadt off with the car tower ascent. It was one of the highlights of our day at the Autostadt. We loved it. Great views of the surrounding Autostadt and the factory and lots of interesting detail by the guide about how the car tower worked. Really a great experience to ride up inside the tower after seeing it all lit up the night before.

- The inside of the tower was spectacular, but the ride was very short.
- The top of the tower offers a nice view, but you cannot go outside and there's not much space to move around.

Really enjoyed this. We took the English-language tour, there were 4 of us. Our guide was very friendly, informative and enthuasiastic about the car towers and VW in general.
We also enjoyed the cartoon playing while we waiting that showed a VW car's trip from factory, to car tower, to new owner.
I would recommend that any trip to the Autostadt includes the car tower ascent!

Interesting trip, not thrilling like a roller coaster. You go up in a small glass box the same speed as the cars. Lots of good information from tour guide. Make sure you book English speaking trip

The tower ascent was a short but great experience. The tour was sold out to anybody that did not have a reservation so I recommend booking early online. Our group was in Germany for a old VW car show in Bad Camberg ans though visiting the factory would be a fun experience. It did not disappoint and turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip thank you.

I would recommend the car tower ascent to my friends. I would NOT recommend the RItz Carlton to anyone. Great location but lousy service although it may be "exceptional" for Germany. They need to check how the Ritz Carlton hotels in the USA provide service to their guests and make lots of improvements. For example,
- waiting 30 minutes for luggage to come up to the room upon check in.
- the hospitality gift - nut tray - removed from the room the next day although we were not done with it
- no welcome package describing the Autostadt and saying that room keys are also Autostadt tickets, but not boat tour tickets
- generally poor command of English in a hotel with international guests

That was the fantastic experience, to travel inside the car tower. First of all, the process itself, the ascend and descend. Then the lovely view from above, on the Autostadt and the factory itself. Also learning something new. I highly recommend it, but better book in advance - booking online is really easy and pleasant.

A wonderful experience, especially as we'd flown from Australia to begin our European holiday at the VW AUTOSTADT. The Tower ride is unique amongst the car manufacturers' invitation to be interactive with their prized product. The whole park caters well for car enthusiasts and leaves you wanting more. It's a bonus that all the VW Group brands are shown here too. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I thought it was a pleasant experience. The staff were very knowledgable and were friendly. The only thing i didn't like was that since my daughter was only 80 Cm she could not go up with me. Therefore my wife couldn't go either.

I have to say that, for me, the tower "tour" was the best part of Autostadt.
Although the "tour" was an ascent and decent the bonus was the time taken by the tour guide to explain all about Autostadt, and the factory's history together with highlighting the landscape from the top floor.
All in all it beat the factory tour by miles.
PS this was all in english so thanks to the lady for taken so much time out to explan all. :)

We quite enjoyed this experience - it was fun watching the cars going up and down the tower, and it was even more fun to go up ourselves. It was good value for money and easy to book (unlike the factory tour). Best bit about the whole visit.

Did the car tower accent with my 10 year old son. The whole experience was great, especially the view from the top. The tour guide was particularly helpful, she was very knowledgeable and spoke perfect English which was a bonus.

Excellent Experience
This was a 60th Birthday present for my husband who is the biggest VW Fanatic. He has even rebuilt his own Karmann Ghia, and we have always driven VW's. Having booked online in advance of our trip from Northern Ireland we couldn't believe how easy it all was. I found the web site a little difficult but I think it was the language barrier. Having spoken to a lady on the phone all was sorted very quickly her customer service was excellent. We don't know of any other car manufacturer who offers this experience, not that my husband would want to see anything else. The tour guide on the car tower ascent was just lovely, her English was exceptional. It was a bonus to be able to book the ascent in English. Thanks to everyone at the Auto Stad for the best experience ever it couldn't have been better, I left with a very happy soon to be 60 husband.

The tour was on time and the guide was very informative. The view from the tower top gives a better sense of the size of the factory. The experience that has been developed by VW is great
